Summary

Read Proverbs 17:17; 18:24; 27:5-6, 9, 17.

The Bible portrays marriage not primarily about romance but about a shared mission. It’s a deep friendship that journeys together towards God. The key features of biblical friendship are constancy and transparency. A friend is faithful and steady. A friend is honest and real. Married or single, we all need this kind of friendship.
