Join us to slow down and catch your breath this Christmas season. Come to center yourself on the Light of the World who came to give us new hope and to set us free from the darkness. You and your family are welcome to this candlelight service.
Identical services will be presented at 10am and 5pm.

Please note:
- The Sanctuary will be dark for the majority of the service, and we will light our candles towards the end. Please discuss this with your children before Sunday so they know what to expect. Please power off your devices before the service, and do not light candles, glowsticks, or flashlights until it is time.
- Pick up a candle from an usher on your way into the Sanctuary. We request that only those over 14 take candles. We will have glow sticks for those under 14. Please hold onto your candles and glowsticks and do not illuminate them until the designated time in the service.
- Our ushers will light their candles first and then they will walk up the aisles to light the candles on the end of each row.
- Please tip your unlit candles to the lit candles to avoid spilling wax. Turn to your neighbour and hold your candle upright for them to tip their candle to your flame. They, in turn, will turn to their neighbour with their candle upright for their neighbour to tip their candle to the upright candle's flame. And so on. Remember, lit candles are kept upright; unlit candles are tilted to the flame.
- After you are instructed to blow out your candles, please continue to keep them upright until you exit the Sanctuary and deposit them in the boxes that will be locate at the Sanctuary doors. Children can keep their glow sticks.
Our worship time starts promptly at 10am and 5pm, and the Sanctuary will be darkened soon after. Latecomers will be seated about 12 minutes and again at 20 minutes into the service from the darkened Lobby. Please enter the Sanctuary upon arrival at the church. Coffee service will only be available after the first service. Please power off your mobile devices before the service to maintain the integrity of the darkness.
Due to volunteer availability, we are unable to record these services.
PARKING CONSIDERATIONS
We are expecting many guests and visitors, so please park off-campus, if possible, either at the school or on the street, and leave the the closer parking spots for visitors and those who need to park close to the doors. If you park on the street, please be careful not to block any driveways, and if you do park on-campus, please consider parking in the back or on the east (Chapel) side.
