WHY MEMBERSHIP AT TAC?
One of the primary ways we express our belonging to God’s family is through covenant membership. Covenant membership is a promise we make to live as best we can as God’s family. In essence, covenant membership is “officially” embracing what is already true (We belong to God and His people). In Covenant Membership we are making a promise, by God’s grace, to fully live as God’s family with a local gathering of believers, to gather on a regular basis, to submit to the leadership, to care for one another, to serve one another and to give of one’s talents and resources to help support and grow the church for God’s glory.
1) Commitment
In covenant membership we are committing to learn and grow in:

Love for one another as Christ has loved us.

Praying for one another
2) Invitation
In covenant membership, we are inviting church leadership and church family to care for us. In 1 Peter 5:1 it says, “Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock.”
