Tsawwassen Alliance has been a member church of Daybreak Point Bible Camp since the Spring of 2018. There is currently one representative from the church, Diane Smid, who attends meetings with the board of directors and sits in on committees.
The member churches offer help financially to the camp, provide volunteers, and promote the camp to their church family. The role of a member church is also to uphold the camp spiritually through prayer and accountability.
The camp, Day Break Point Bible Camp, is located on Anvil Island in the heart of Howe Sound. Their mission is for campers to encounter the love of Jesus and experience a life in him through: Christ centred teaching and programs, Christian community, personal relationships, and a safe and fun camp experience.
Day Break Point Bible Camp is a summer camp with 10 weeks of camp each summer. Each week has over 80 volunteers and 100 campers. There is minimal full-time staff so the camp is run by volunteers with a passion for reaching youth and seeing them come to know Christ.
