50 For 50

Heading into our 50th year, we feel that God is calling us to refocus our resources on building the church for the advance of the gospel. We are re looking to raise $50,000 in our 50th year to be split between two projects.

FIRST, in partnership with Dalit Freedom Network, we will help build a church amongst an unreached people group in Northern India. For instance, in the state of Bihar India, there are 100 million people, most of them living in poverty at the bottom of the caste system. This region is mostly unreached and under-engaged. In partnership with DFN and OM India we want to equip the church to continue to proclaim Jesus where he is not known.

SECOND, we want to continue to invest in upgrading our building for the next season of ministry. Our building is 32 years old and has served us well. But we are at that season where upgrades our needed. Last year we were able to update the foyer and bathrooms downstairs. The year before, we put on a new roof and repaired the exterior stucco. Out of surplus funds from 2014 we have already begun work on installing new lighting in the sanctuary. Over the next 2 to 3 years, though, we will be faced with additional needed upgrades. These will likely include the HVAC system, kids ministry wing, and new carpet and seating for the sanctuary. What a blessing of legacy if we could raise a good portion of these expenses this year, and have the cash on hand for these projects when needed!
