Over the past month, our staff has worked diligently on a plan that would allow us to reopen the building in compliance with the government and WorkSafeBC. Even though this will enable us to reintroduce weekly in-person worship gatherings beginning July 2nd, we will continue to live-stream so our entire church family can still meet together as one body, whether in our building or in your own home. As we open sign-ups and make this shift, you’ll notice a few changes:
We are working to resolve some technical issues and in order to meet the needs of both live and live-stream gatherings we are upgrading some of our systems. Thank you for your patience during this time. Over the coming weeks, we will be moving our live-stream from Vimeo to YouTube. You will still have the option of watching the stream from our website, mobile app or directly from YouTube.
In order to comply with seating limitations and physical distancing, we are requiring individuals to sign-up in advance for any live worship gathering. An online portal will open for sign-ups at 9am on Thursday, June 25th. At that time, we ask that you only sign-up for one gathering in the month, so as to ensure everyone who so desires gets a chance to attend at least once that month. In the event that a Sunday is not fully booked, we will open up the extra spaces closer to the actual date on a first come basis.
While on the church premises, we will have safety measures in place. We do this not just to comply, but also out of love and respect for those in attendance and those who are volunteering.
As we will be open for live gatherings for both First Thursday and Sunday Worship Gatherings through July, please keep the following dates in mind:
