Opening What stood out to you from Sunday’s message?

Summary

Read Genesis 2:18-25 & Ephesians 5:22-33

God invented marriage and he made it good. But sin has corrupted marriage and made it difficult. Ephesians 5 tells us that there is a mysterious relationship between marriage and the gospel. The two explain each other. God designed marriage so that the world would have a category for understanding how Christ loved the church. A biblical marriage is a display of the gospel and is empowered by the gospel.
