Opening What stood out to you from Sunday’s message?

                                                                                                                       Summary

Read 1 Timothy 6:1-2

It is estimated that one third of the people in the Roman Empire were slaves. In the church in Ephesus there were many slaves and even some masters who had become followers of Jesus. How should the gospel shape this master-slave relationship? How does this personal transformation affect the way a person works? Paul’s concern that servants honor their master in their work has direct application to our work environments. In our jobs, our schools, and responsibilities, we are representing Jesus and need to work for his glory.
