  1. Why did God give us the Scriptures? Think about God’s intention, Scripture’s usefulness, and how the Bible equips believers.
  2. What do we mean when we say the Bible is inspired?
  3. How have you demonstrated that you are committed to believing and obeying God’s word? Describe your current practice of the study of Scripture and how you have seen growth in your knowledge of and obedience to God’s word.
  4. Which areas of your life do you think need the most work to be conformed to the standards set forth in God’s word? Think of some ways that you can address these specific areas.
  5. What teachings of the Bible do people disagree about most? Why is this? How should we respond?
